Vadivelu not even approached for Shankar-Rajinikanth’s 2.o

There were reports that veteran comedian Vadivelu, who was part of Shankar’s super hit classics like Kadhalan and Mudhalvan, will be playing an important role in Rajinikanth’s 2.o. However, a reliable source reveals that Vadivelu was not even approached for 2.o.

Apparently, in a recent interaction, Vadivelu said that he is waiting for Shankar to complete 2.o, so that he can focus on his production Imsai Arasan 2, to be helmed by Chimbudevan. This was misquoted by a section of media and the news spread like a wildfire. Vadivelu is also said to be in talks for Vijay – Atlee’s Vijay 61, and an untitled project of GV Prakash with director Rambala of Dhillukku Dhuddu fame.
