Vadivelu is mulling over starting a production house

Vadivelu make who made a comeback in Yuvaraj Dayalan’s Tenaliraman is mulling over beginning a production house soon. Touted as his comeback film after years, Tenaliraman received lacklustre reception from both the trade and the audience. The takers for Vadivelu has been diminishing, says a source. Yuvraj Dayalan, the director of Tenaliraman has narrated a one-liner to Vadivelu. The story is set in the 18th century backdrop but will defy the rules of a historical film, says Yuvaraj.

Vadivelu who is finding it difficult to convince producers after the lukewarm reception for Tenaliraman has been thinking to produce the film himself. The veteran comedian has also been approached by KS Ravikumar and co for Rajinikanth’s Lingaa and an official about the same is still awaited.
