Vaalee’s song for ‘Aaranya Kaandam’ in Thirudan Police

Late lyricist-poet Vaalee has penned a song for Thiagarajan Kumararajan’s critically acclaimed Aaranya Kaandam, but it was not used since the film had no songs. Now, Caarthick Raju, the director of Thirudan Police has thoughtfully used the song ‘Moodu Panikkul’ in his film after getting permission from the makers of Aaranya Kaandam. 

“Though I’ve never had an opportunity to work with Vaali sir, I’ve been a big fan of his. I wanted to use his song in my maiden film. Therefore, I requested my producers SPB Charan and Selva to permit me to use the song as Charan was also the producer for Aaranya Kandam,” confirms Caarthick Raju. Thirudan Police has Attakathi Dinesh and Iyshwarya Rajesh in lead roles. It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
