Uttama Villain to release in August?

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is working at a brisk pace to wrap up Uttama Villain. The Padma Bhushan awardee plays dual roles in the film with Uthaman, an 8th century drama actor and Manoranjan, a 21st century cinema superstar. Uttama Villain is directed by Ramesh Arvind and produced by Thirrupathi Brothers and Rajkamal Films. The latest news is that Thirrupathi Brothers have locked August 29th as the release date for Uttama Villain.

It is worth recalling that Thirupathi Brothers is also planning to release its Surya – Lingusamy project, Anjaan, on August 15th. If the production house’s plans come through, the fans will be on seventh heaven with double dhamaka in the offing. Uttama Villain also features veteran directors K. Balachandar, K. Vishwananth and actors Urvashi, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, and Jayaram playing pivotal roles. The music for the film will be composed by the recent sensation M. Ghibran, who is also the music director of Vishwaroopam 2.
