UN Women appoints Aishwarya Dhanush as Goodwill Ambassador For South India
United Nations Women, the UN organization dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women, has appointed Aishwarya Dhanush as UN Women’s Goodwill Ambassador for South India.
Aishwarya Dhanush has made films like Dhanush, Shruti Haasan-starrer 3 and Gautham Karthik’s heist thriller Vai Raja Vai, which didn’t do well at the box office. Aishwarya is currently penning her memoir Standing on an Apple Box, that offers unexpected glimpses into her life and that of her stupendously popular father, actor and superstar Rajinikanth.
