Ulkuthu slated for mid-August release

Following the critically acclaimed Oru Naal Koothu, Kenanya Films is ready with its next project Ulkuthu, which is slated for mid-August release. Starring Dinesh and Nandhitha in the lead roles, Ulkuthu depicts the life of a coastal village in south Tamil Nadu. Shot exclusively across the shores of Nagercoil and its surrounding villages, the film also features Bala Saravanan, John Vijay, Chaya Singh, Sriman, ‘Pandiya Nadu’ fame Sharath, Dilip Subburayan, and the popular chef Damodaran in important roles.

Directed by Caarthick Raju of Thirudan Police fame, Ulkuthu has been acquired by Abi and Abi Pictures in TN. “I was fortunate enough to watch major portions of the film and I was impressed a lot. Plenty of laughable moments are there and the visuals were absolutely brilliant. We are planning to release the teaser in the first week of July and the audio event will follow by the third week of July,” says Abinesh Elangovan of Abi and Abi Pictures.
