Udhay’s Red Giant Movies acquires ‘Vaayai Moodi Pesavum’
Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies has acquired distribution rights for the soon-to-be released Vaayai Moodi Pesavum. VMP, a socio-political satire directed by ‘Kaadhalil Sothappuvathu Eppadi’ fame Balaji Mohan is jointly produced by Radian Media and YNOT Studios. The film is all set to hit the screens on April 25th. It is a bilingual made in Tamil and Malayalam and will be released simultaneously.
The film has Mammootty’s son Dulquer Salmaan (his debut in Tamil) and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles. The film also marks Madhu Bala’s comeback to Tamil cinema after Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar. Its supporting cast includes Pandiyarajan, Vinu Chakravarthi and Robo Shankar. Udhayanidhi Stalin is well-known for embracing good projects and the snapping up of VMP’s theatrical rights doesn’t surprise many. It is worth bringing to your notice that Mynaa, Neram, Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer and the recently released Nedunchalai were all released by Udhay under his home banner Red Giant Movies.
