Udhay and Lakshmi Menon join hands for SR Prabhakaran?

SR Prabhakaran who made his debut with the critically acclaimed Sundarapandian starring Sasikumar and Lakshmi Menon did not receive the same response for his Ithu Kathirvelan Kadhal featuring Udhay and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Now, the speculations are rife that the director is all set to direct his next film with Udhay. Lakshmi Menon who is busy with a slew of projects is likely to play the female lead.

Santhanam, who plays Udhay’s sidekick in his films, is likely to be dropped since the film is set in the rural backdrop. Soori will act alongside Udhay for the first time to provide comic relief. If all goes well, the film will go on floors from June.
