Trisha’s next is based on a hideous real-life incident

Trisha’s women-centric film Bhogi where she shares screen space with Poonam Bajwa and Oviya is based on a hideous real life incident that shook the country, confirms director Pandian. The story narrates the story of three women who get scarred by an incident and how they come to terms with their lives thereafter. Trisha, who plays Indhu, is the boldest of the trio and boosts the morale of other two at difficult situations.

Trisha’s upcoming films include Kamal Haasan’s Thoongavanam where she essays a never-done-before role and dons a never-seen-before look. She is also part of Sundar C’s Aranmanai 2 which features an ensemble cast of Siddharth and Hansika in the lead roles. Also Appa Takkaru, where she is paired with Jayam Ravi, is awaiting release.
