Trisha’s Garjanai is not a remake of NH 10, clarifies director

Debutant director Sundar Balu has clarified that Trisha’s Garjanai is not a remake of Hindi hit NH10. The film is based on a real-life incident which happened in North India. Trisha plays a western dancer in the film and will have intense action sequences. She is currently being trained by stunt master Supreme Sundar.

Amit Bhargav, who is paired opposite Trisha in the film, plays the role of a businessman. Produced by Century International Films, Garjanai also has Vamsi Krishna playing an important role. The shooting for the film is currently underway in Karaikudi.
