Trigger is the story of an undercover cop who unveils hidden details: Sam Anton

Amidst the September 23rd releases, one film which looks very promising is Trigger – the upcoming Sam Anton directorial which has Atharva and him teaming up again after the hit film 100. At the pre-release press meet of the film, Sam Anton spoke about how his producers were super supportive to complete the film in just 47 days. “Trigger is the story of an undercover cop who finds out hidden details. The story is based on the internal affairs team, who go behind cops who misbehave and are corrupted and bring them to the light. The story for the film came out of research that I did during the making of 100,” said the director.

Atharva, who also spoke at the event, said that “When I spoke to Sam after the success of 100, I told him that we should come up with a film that would be better than 100, or else – we should take some more time and not rush it. Rightly so, Trigger has turned out to be that kind of film.” The film has five action sequences with Ghibran composing the music.
