Trident Arts bags TN theatrical rights of Seethakaathi
Popular distribution house Trident Arts has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Vijay Sethupathi’s Seethakaathi, which is eyeing a release on November 16th, 10 days after Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar.
Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom fame, Seethakaathi has Vijay Sethupathi in the role of a drama artist. Ramya Nambeesan, who paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the super-hit cop thriller Sethupathi and veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja play important cameo roles in Seethakaathi.
Jointly produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh, Jayaram, and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner Passion Studios, the film also has cameos by Gayathrie and Parvati Nair.
