Trailer of Vikram’s Saamy Square postponed respecting victims of anti-Sterlite protests
The trailer of Chiyaan Vikram’s Saamy Square, which was supposed to be released today, stands postponed to a later date as a mark of respect to the dead victims of anti-Sterlite protests in Tuticorin.
Producer Shibu Thameens took to Twitter to confirm the news.
It’s not the time for celebration,so with all your permission ( #Saamy Lovers and #Chiyaan fans ) we are postponing our trailer launch..Will update,let’s pray for the ppl who lost their lives, more over pray this kind of situation should not continue Nd never happen..#saamy2

Directed by Hari, Saamy Square has Keerthy Suresh playing the lead heroine and Bobby Simha as the villain. The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
