TR thanks Vijay for his moral support in releasing Vaalu

T Rajendar, who flared up the audio launch of Puli with this epic speech on stage showering endless encomiums on Ilayathalapathy Vijay, thanked him again at the press meet of Vaalu today. “I thank Vijay for the extended support. He personally spoke to distributors to give good release for the film. Vijay is indeed a true Tamilan and I’m always indebted to him. I thank all the theater owner and distributors, especially Cosmo Siva and PT Selvakumar who helped propel the release strategy,” said TR who also expressed interest in acquiring distribution rights for Puli in Salem and TK (Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari) territories.

TR also revealed that he has invested more than Rs. 25 crores in releasing the film, which is all set to hit the screens on August 14th alongside Arya’s Vasuvum Saravanum Onna Padichavanga. The film is expected to release in over 300 screens in Tamil Nadu.
