Thupparivaalan 2 row: Mysskin lashes out at Vishal and calls for war

Addressing all the allegations levelled against him, ace filmmaker Mysskin, while speaking at a press meet on Thursday, lashed out at actor Vishal, who has taken over the directorial reigns of Thupparivaalan 2 after the former opted out of the project.

“Vishal abused my mother after a point of time. I have been treating him as my own brother in the last three years. How can I continue the project after hearing these swear words and abuses? He’s a scoundrel. This is just the beginning. Let’s go for Kurukshetra war if you have guts and are ready,” said Mysskin in a matter-of-fact tone.

“Vishal has said that I have spent nearly Rs 35 lakhs for script writing in London. Can he show me the proof? I have spent just Rs 7 lakhs and I asked for Rs 7.5 lakhs. I have recording as proof showing how he hurled abuses at me. I was insulted, humiliated at every stage of the shooting. From the beginning itself, I warned him about the budget of the film saying it will cost nearly Rs 20 crores and asked him to let someone else bankroll the project. But, he was adamant about the producing the film and told me that it will provide an opportunity for him to get rid of the debts,” added Mysskin.

Now, Vishal has turned director for Thupparivaalan 2 and the first look carried his name alongside Ilaiyaraja.

Meanwhile, Ishari K Ganesh of Vels Film International has extended an offer to Mysskin and come in solidarity with the auteur saying his company will always be open to produce his project.
