Three films vying for release on September 17th

As the much awaited Puli has been postponed, three films – Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Rajini Murugan and 49 O – are vying to take the spot. Among the three, the makers of GV Prakash’s Trisha Illana Nayanthara and 49 O,  which marks the comeback of Goundamani, have already confirmed the release date as September 17th.

Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan is said to be acquired by Vendhar Movies as we had reported few days back and they are also eyeing for the four-day Vinayagar Chaturthi weekend since the film is touted to be a mass family entertainer. However, an official confirmation is awaited from the Rajini Murugan team.
