Thought Maharaja will do just average as my previous films didn’t do well: Vijay Sethupathi
At the thanks meet of Maharaja that took place yesterday, actor Vijay Sethupathi felt emotional about the success of the film saying “I thought Maharaja will do just average or above average as my previous films as a hero did not do well. But I am happy to see the massive success. Someone came and told me that banners with my picture are of no use since people won’t come to see me. But this has changed a lot of things,” said the actor.
Maharaja has already entered the 50 crore club worldwide, and is rocking in TN, Telugu states, Kerala and specifically overseas where it is nearing the $1 Million club in the GCC. The team expects collections to skyrocket even higher over the next week!
