Theri triumphs censors with a clean U

Theri has cleared the censors with a clean U certificate as is the customary for all Vijay films. The producers, distributors and theater owners are quite happy since it makes the eligible for tax exemption. The state-appointed tax exemption committee is expected to watch the film next week.

Directed by Atlee and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, Theri features Amy Jackson and Samantha in the lead roles. Mahendran plays the baddie and Radhika Sarathkumar plays the role of Vijay’s mother. The film is all set to hit cinemas on April 14th for the Tamil New Year weekend.
