“There’s no Tamil cinema without Anbu Cheziyan,” says Kalaipuli S Thanu
Kalaipuli S Thanu showered praise on film financier and producer Anbu Cheziyan for his kind-heartedness. “There’s no Tamil cinema without Anbu Cheziyan. Even I’m getting finance from him for most of my movies. For Kabali also, Anbu financed me and never troubled me or made me feel inconvenient at any point in time,” said Thanu.
Thanu also revealed how Anbu facilitated a smooth release of Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan by overcoming all financial hiccups in one night. “I strongly regret Ashok Kumar’s demise. I’m ready to produce a movie with Sasikumar or Vishal and donate the entire funds to Ashok Kumar’s family. I will not be in debts since Vishal or Sasikumar would act for free,” said Thanu.
