Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru Songs Review

Review Overview

Oru Veettil
O Sathiye
Laali Laali
Theeran Da
Tinga Tinga
Sevatha Pulla

Impressive, layered soundtrack.

Theeran does have a 'something missing' feel overall, but Ghibran's stamp of being able to create interesting turns in a simple tune still continues and makes it work. Go ahead and take the melodies into your playlist, they are here to stay.

Cast: Karthi, Rakul Preet

Music: Ghibran

Direction: H.Vinod

Label: Aditya Music

Oru Veettil: Singers – Shashaa Tirupati, Inno Genga

Such an instantly lovable feel, this song creates. Ghibran catches hold of Inno Genga, who successfully provides a very stylish finish to the song. Along with Shashaa Tirupati and the heavenly hook, this one works wonders. Our PICK.

O Sathiye: Singer – Armaan Maalik

Rather usual tune, but Armaan Maalik’s perfect vocals and the chorus gather goodies. Watch out for some interesting string orchestration in between. Our PICK.

Laali Laali: Singers – Sathyaprakash, Pragathi

Very inefficient number which has very little working in its favour. Even with good vocals, the old school instrumentation doesn’t help.

Theeran Da: Singers – Aravind Srinivas, Sarath Santhosh

Something different for an intro track, instead of going the loud way. Two new singers voice it out together neatly.

Tinga Tinga: Singer – Padmalatha

Wonderful to see Padmalatha come in for an item song, with her variant vocals it’s much better than any other singer would have done it. Good that the song doesn’t go high into heavy decibels.

Sevatha Pulla: Singer – Ranjith

Albeit being in known territories, Ghibran gives the song a lovable touch of his own. Ranjith too, does a very careful job on the mic, reaping rewards. Our PICK.
