Realistic, poetic & emotional

Cast : Ram, Sadhana, Shelly, Poo Ram, Rohini, Padma Priya. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Cinematography by Arbindhu Saaraa, Editing by Sreekar Prasad, Produced by Photon Kathaas & JSK Film Corporation, Written & Directed by Ram.

The movie is all about emotional travel between father and daughter. R am carries the plot with his beautiful little girl. Thanga meenkal came out with huge expectations with lot support from the media.

It is not Yuvan Shankar raja this time, its Ilayaraaja. Great play and wonderful background score. Anandha yaalai penned by Na .Muthu kumar, Sung by Sriram Parthasarathy is melting. After “Katradhu Tamil” the combo brings magical score. Cinematography is definitely a master piece from Arbhindu saaraa.

Ram playes the role Kalyani a man of self dignity respected by his wife and adored by his little daughter Sadhana (Chellama). Ram’s explore and travel through his life and philosophy is hardly understood by family members, but in turn ram reacts and plays hard to keep his 8 yr old daughter wish to be fulfilled and happiness intact. Sadhana left impact on the audience for sure. At no point the director moved away in his narration or making it look cinematic .Shelly playing a role or best living the character of being a mother has won the screen space in bringing out all her emotions and frustration at one point. Hats off Shelly brilliant and emotional. Rohini and Poo Ram as parents of Ram are realistic and lively. Padma priya comes as determined teacher and shared a small space. Aruldass comes as Padma Priya’s Husband and does the play in his style though he has only one scene in the film.

Chellama (Sadhana) and Nithyashree (Sanjana) steals the show at their childish conversations. Ram has chosen perfect casting for the entire movie, being it the lady playing sisters role, friend or Arul doss, all has given their best.

All the songs are promptly screened, with the help of Arbhindu Saaraa’s camera. The scenic beauty is pleasant shot to the viewers. Entertaining is not only a cinema. Cinema is not only an entertainment. It can connect and travel to the audiences through emotions, proves Ram. It isn’t an experiment as well.
