Thalapathy Vijay’s Neyveli selfie has been announced by Twitter India as the most retweeted tweet of 2020, with over 168K retweets. This is the biggest tweet recorded this year, beating other announcements in the cinema, cricket and political fields.

Master is set to release in cinemas from the 13^th of January, as a Pongal release. The makers have requested the government for the support and will kick-start the promotional run in full force soon.
