Thalapathy Vijay visited the anti-Sterlite victims in Thoothukudi and donated Rs 1 lakh to each family affected by the police firing. The actor, who has been busy shooting for Thalapathy 62, was spotted getting down at the venue by bike in the midnight of Wednesday.

It must be noted that Vijay skipped attending Vijay Awards which was held in Chennai last Sunday. He has won the Favorite Actor award, a category which is voted by people. However, sources close to the management of Vijay Television suggest that they are trying their best to present the award to Vijay in person.
