Thalapathy Vijay removes Sarkar smoking still from Twitter after controversy
The official Twitter handles of Sun Pictures and Thalapathy Vijay have removed the smoking still of Sarkar after reports emerged that Tamil Nadu Health Department has issued a notice to the team.
Earlier, Anbumani Ramadoss raised his voice against the film’s poster when it was launched on the occasion of Vijay’s birthday. Now, Vijay has removed the poster and changed his profile picture with a different poster of Sarkar on Twitter.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sarkar has Keerthy Suresh playing the lead heroine. AR Rahman composes music for the project, which is currently progressing in Chennai and is slated for Diwali release.
