Thalapathy Vijay at Sarkar Audio Launch: “I don’t play a Chief Minister in the film”
Thalapathy Vijay has put a full stop to rumors about his character in Sarkar directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures. “I don’t play a Chief Minister in the film. If I’m elected as the Chief Minister of the state, I won’t act like a CM but will be true to myself,” replied Vijay when actor Prasanna, who was co-hosting the event alongside VJ Diya, asked a hypothetical question.
“Mersal la konjam arasiyal irunthuchu. Sarkar la arasiyala vechchu Mersal pannikaaru,” said Vijay about Murugadoss. He also added that the last one year travel with ARM has been a memorable ride.
Unusually, Vijay directly attacked the corruption in the system and also talked in graphic detail about how and why an honest leadership is very important and a sincere leader is crucial.
Murugadoss said Sarkar will touch everyone from the bottom of the heart. “It will not be a film only for entertainment. It will touch everyone’s hearts. Fans will be able to connect the real-life Vijay sir with his character in Sarkar after watching the movie.”
Sarkar is all set to hit screens worldwide for Diwali. Reports are rife that the makers have zeroed in on November 6th to release the film.
