Thalapathy 65 targets big Pongal 2022 release

According to the latest sources in Kollywood, it looks like Thalapathy Vijay’s next biggie with Nelson Dilipkumar will lock its release date for the Pongal 2022 festival season. With Sun Pictures looking to start work on the film by next month, it could be a little too tight to look at a Diwali release for the film, which is why they would like to slot it for the Pongal date which has already gone right this year with Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master.

Sun Pictures are looking to take Thalapathy65 on floors early in April, and are now conducting the location recce for the film abroad.
