Thala 57: Popular Hip-Hop singer Yogi B records a song for Anirudh

Yogeswaran Veerasingam aka Yogi B,  changed the face of hip-hop music with his Vallavan album and rose to fame with filmi songs like GV Prakash’s Engeyum Eppothum in Pollathavan where he crooned alongside SPB and Boom Boom Robo Da for AR Rahman’s Enthiran, which remains his last song for a feature film. Now, the then-celebrated singer is back in Ajith Kumar’s Thala 57, rendering his voice for a song composed by Anirudh.  

“After a gap of 7 years, the father of tamil hip-hop @iamyogib is back for #AK57,” posted Anirudh.

Yogi B thanked Anirudh for his lovely composition. His tweet read, “Im sincerely thankful to you brother fr the awesome music that was a high to rhyme on.Nandri for the opportunity.Nandri all.#AK57 it is!.”

The shooting of Thala 57 is currently progressing in Bulgaria.
