Thala 55 will not confront Kaththi

Gautham Menon has revealed that he is planning to complete Thala 55 by September and begin the post-production work by October. Apparently, Gautham Menon happened to talk to Lingusamy in a recent chat show in Puthu Yugam channel and when quizzed about the progress and release plans of Thala 55, Gautham said, “We are looking forward to wrap up by August or September. And then release the film after AR Murugadoss and Vijay’s film.” So now its clear that Thala 55 release date won’t clash with that of Kaththi.

Thala and Thalapathy confronted each other for Pongal this year with Veeram and Jilla. So, there won’t be a second clash for Ajith and Vijay this year.
