TFPC axes release restriction rules for Christmas and Pongal
Since a lot of films including the likes of Seethakaathi (December 20th), Kanaa, Maari 2, KGF, Adangamaru and Silukkuvarpatti Singam have announced December 21st as the release date targeting the Christmas holiday weekend, Tamil Film Producers Council organized a meeting yesterday to discuss the issue.
Tamil Film Producers Council’s release regulation committee has been allocating dates for Tamil movies in the past few months. Now, they have released an official statement that TFPC has axed the release restriction rules for the upcoming Christmas and Pongal holidays. Currently, Viswasam, Petta and LKG have confirmed their release plans for Pongal 2019.
