The Tamil Film Producers Council has announced a complete shutdown of day-to-day affairs including new movie releases from March 1st, seeking an immediate solution to the exorbitant prices charged by digital service providers like QUBE and UFO.
“The four film industries from the south including Tollywood, Mollywood and Sandalwood have decided to down the shutters from March 1st until there’s an amicable solution. We have decided to not release any movie from March 1st,” read a statement from TFPC.
