Telugu remake of 96 firmed up before release

Even before the release of the film on the 4th of October, the Vijay Sethupathi – Trisha starrer 96 has been confirmed for a remake in Telugu. The film will be bankrolled by noted producer Dil Raju, who has been in talks for the rights for a long time.

According to sources, the Naan Ee pair of Nani and Samantha will be teaming up for the Telugu version of the film, which will go on floors by the end of the year. More announcements are expected from the team over the next few days.
