Tamil remake of Ayyapanum Koshiyum to be produced by Kathiresan

Kathiresan, the producer of films such as Aadukalam and Jigarthanda, has snapped the Tamil remake rights of the Prithviraj – Biju Menon’s Malayalam film Ayyapanum Koshiyum, which turned out to be a big hit all round. The producer is now in the process of assembling the right team to take care of the project, which will be made on a bigger scale than the original.

Ayyapanum Koshiyum, written and directed by Sachy, was a terrific tale of egos that put a man against a police officer. The film was largely appreciated for its brilliant writing, realistic staging and the right portrayal of human emotions.
