Tamil Children’s Film “BOW BOW” wins Best Foreign Film at CALIFORNIA FESTIVAL

Tamil children’s film “Bow Bow”, directed by newcomer Pradeep Kilikar, took home awards for Best Foreign Film and Best Youth Actor this past weekend in Beverly Hills, California. The film had its international/US premiere at the Love International Film Festival, where it was also nominated for its screenplay, direction, cinematography and supporting cast.

Speaking on this significant achievement, debut director Pradeep says “All credit goes to my producer, the whole team, cast and crew, my parents, family and friends, well wishers and VFC’s Dilani”. The Youth Actor award was earned by the lively young Master Ahaan, a 6-year-old first-time actor from Bangalore.

This heartwarming tale of a lonely young boy, whose pet dog is his whole world, had its world premiere at the start of 2017 at the International Children’s Film Festival of Bangladesh, where it also played in the competitive programme.

The film is awaiting its theatrical release and is already in high demand eager family audiences in India.
