Tamanna’s rigorous workout for Baahubali

Milk beauty Tamannah’s role in SS Rajamouli’s magnum-opus Baahubali is unlike her previous on screen appearances. The petite babe has shed nearly six kilos for the role as requested by Rajamouli. She followed a rigorous workout and a stringent diet to get the perfect look for the role.

“People have seen me playing the glam doll all the time and this role will come as a revelation. I play Avanthika, a character from an unspecified era. A lot of thought went into the costume and jewellery to get the look right,” says Tamannah about her role. The team has been shooting in Bulgaria for the past few days and heading back to India today. Tamanna is paired with Prabhas in this two-part epic history drama. The first part of Baahubali is set for a grand summer release next year.
