Stunt Silva, who has earlier worked with Thala Ajith in Mankatha and Veeram and says all the stunts were shot live in Yennai Arindhaal. “Director VenkatPrabhu introduced me to Ajith sir in Mankatha, my first film for thala. The stunt sequences got some good response. Then Director Shiva got me into Veeram, the train fight got raving responses from every corner. I have worked with Gautham Menon in his last four projects. So he wanted the combo to continue. Ajith sir likes me very much,” says Silva with a smile.
Stunt Sequences in Yennai Arindhaal
“All the stunts were shot live. We have tried to create a mess like a real fight. It will not be fair to reveal all the things before release. Thala always has a habit of getting us tensed by taking some ruthless risks. In one of the stunt sequences We were requesting him to use regular glass panes that is used for stunt purposes but he broke a real glass with bare head. Most of the sequences shot in Chennai. Ajith Sir will always be kind and lovable to everyone in the spot. He will ensure that fighters have 100% safety while doing fight sequences. He never hestitates to apologize for his mistakes in the spot. Sorry and Thanks make people to get rid of their ‘Ego’ he always says. I can’t resist myself telling more about him. His determination fascinates me always. He never says ‘No’ to anything.
His role
It’s a very small role. Gautham sir wanted me to act and I did it. It is a small role.
