Taapsee has a powerful role in Vai Raja Vai

Taapsee Pannu, who was last seen in Ajith’s Arrambam where she is paired with Arya, will be seen in Aishwarya Dhanush directed Vai Raja Vai next in a brief but important role. Taapsee had a dull 2014 since none of her films released this year. “I find it a bit strange that none of my movies released this year. It is an awkward moment for me,” says Taapsee who will be seen opposite Raghava Lawrence in Muni 3.

When quizzed about her role in Vai Raja Vai, she says, “Though I’ll be seen making a cameo appearance, my role in the movie is quite powerful. Shreya, which is the name of the character I play, is neither the villain nor someone who would be seen romancing the hero. She has a purpose and she is there to finish her job and move on“.
