T Rajendar rescues Vaalu

Simbu fans can finally rejoice. T Rajendar has acquired the theatrical rights for the long-gestating Vaalu from producer NIC Arts Chakravarthy who has been struggling to release the film for a long time. Sources say the satellite rights are with Sun TV and they are also expected to chip in with good promotions for the film.

The film is likely to see the light of day this month and May 22nd is said to be a possible date. Directed by Vijay Chander, Vaalu features Simbu and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. The film will be released under Simbu Cine Arts.
