Suseenthiran starts shooting for football film ‘Champion’
Filmmaker Suseenthiran, after sports films like ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu’ and ‘Jeeva’, has started shooting for his third sports movie Champion, which revolves around football.
Actor-Producer GK Reddy switched on the camera for the first shot of this film. The entire cast and crew were present for the occasion. The film marks the debut of Roshan as an actor in the lead role and so for Dubsmash fame Mrinalini who plays the female protagonist.
Others in the cast includes GK Reddy, Anjathey fame Naren, Jayaprakash, RK Suresh, Harish Uthaman and few more prominent actors. Arrol Corelli is composing music for this film and Sujith Sarang is handling cinematography.
Indian Football Champion Raman Vijayan will be associated with the film in coordinating the realistic approach to the game for this film. The film is produced by K Raghavi under the banner Kalanjiam Cine Arts. The makers of ‘Champion’ are planning to release the film in December 2018.
