Suriya’s NGK pulls in nearly Rs 29 crores in TN in first week
Suriya’s NGK directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, which opened to mixed reviews on release, has pulled in nearly Rs 29 crores in its first week in Tamil Nadu.
In Chennai city alone, NGK has grossed Rs 4.21 crores. Although the film is set to cross the Rs 30 crores gross mark in the state, the numbers are below the lifetime total of previous Suriya outings such as Singam 3 and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. The worldwide theatrical gross of the film has just sailed past the Rs 50 crores mark.
