Suriya-Samantha’s acclaimed sci-fi thriller 24 has been selected in the prominent movie-aggregator website IMDB’s ‘Top 10 Indian Movies in 2016’ list. Apparently, 24, directed by Vikram Kumar of Manam fame and, jointly produced by Studio Green and 2D Entertainment, is the only South Indian film which has featured in the list and it is placed at 8th position.
Taapsee, Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Pink tops the list, followed by Akshay Kumar’s war rescue thriller Airlift and Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt’s coming-of-age drama Dear Zindagi. Other films that have managed to make the cut include Irfan Khan’s Madaari, Madhavan-Ritika Singh’s Saala Khadoos, Sushant Singh Rajput’s M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja, Alia Bhatt’s Kapoor and Sons and the Anurag Kashyap-produced Udta Punjab.
