Suriya to team up with director Pa. Ranjith?

The latest buzz in the tinsel town is Suriya is likely to join hands with director Pa. Ranjith, who recently delivered a hit film in Madras. Sourcess say Suriya is impressed by Ranjith’s work and has already signed him on under his banner 2D Entertainment. According to initial reports, the film is touted to be a breezy romantic entertainer. If all goes well, this project will take off after Suriya completes Venkat Prabhu’s Masss and Vikram Kumar’s yet-untitled flick.

Suriya has also commmitted to a project with director Hari next year and the latter recently confirmed it in the pre-release press meet of Poojai. Our report on Hari – Suriya’s next is here. Also, Ranjith earlier told in an interview that his next film is based on the life of tribals living in forest areas and we reported here that Arya might be cast in the film. Suriya – Ranjith’s project can kick off only in the second or third quarter of 2015 if everything falls in place.
