Suriya request fans to avoid celebrations for Pasanga 2 release

After Rajinikanth called off his birthday celebrations and requested his fan to concentrate on relief measures, now Suriya has requested his fans to avoid celebrations for his forthcoming release Pasanga 2. 

“Many of you have been directly helping the flood ravaged families in both Chennai and Cuddalore districts for the past few days by getting on the ground and focussing on relief and rehabilitation measures. I sincerely wish you all for your humanitarian services. I have never accepted and liked the overflow of banners, festoons and posters on the eve of my film releases as a symbol of love. I have conveyed this to you on several occasions. Come December 24th, Pasanga 2 is releasing and I request you all to avoid any sort of celebrations and spend all the money to help get the disadvantaged families hit by Chennai rains back on track. Please co-ordinate with chief administrative office to volunteer for relief activities,” said Suriya.
