Suriya joins Facebook?

Before the release of Lingusamy’s Anjaan, reports were rife that Suriya will join Facebook and Twitter officially.  But, there were no signs on the actor on the social media platforms then. Now, a verified profile – https://www.facebook.com/SuriyaSofficial on Facebook has been spreading virally since morning as Suriya’s official page. But, before fans could rejoice, Suriya’s PRO has confirmed that it’s a fake page and not an official profile of Suriya.

“Reacting to this, the authorised fans club of Suriya has lodged a complaint on this fake page to cyber crime https://www.facebook.com/SuriyaSofficial. It is an affirmation that actor Suriya is neither on Facebook nor Twitter. If any such plans are happening in future, the authentic details and news would be officially made to all,” says an official press note.

Interestingly, the ‘About’ section of the page was “This is the official page for Actor Suriya, Maintaining By E Fans Association” few hours back for the same page. Now, it’s been changed to, “Official Facebook Page Of Actor Suriya“.
