Superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta targets Pongal 2019 release

Trade sources have strongly confirmed that Superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta is targeting Pongal 2019 to release the film. Since the makers have already wrapped up the shooting well in advance, they have ample time for post-production and Pongal 2019 release looks very feasible.

Thala Ajith’s Viswasam earlier announced officially that the film will hit the screens for Pongal 2019. The shooting is on the verge of completion, with the final schedule underway in Mumbai now. Since the Pongal festival is going to be a long and extended weekend, it can surely accommodate two big projects. An official confirmation on Petta release date is awaited.
