Suniel Shetty to play the baddie in Rajinikanth’s Darbar

Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has been signed to play the baddie in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca, Darbar team is currently on a schedule break. The makers are aiming for Pongal 2020 release for the film.

The second leg of the film will begin from May 29th in Mumbai and Suniel Shetty’s scenes are expected to be shot in the schedule. Malayalam actor Chemban Vinod Jose and Bollywood actor Dalip Tahil also form supporting cast of Darbar, which has Nayanthara playing the lead heroine. Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, Prateik Babbar, and Jatin Sarna play important roles. Anirudh composes the music for the film, which has cinematography by Santosh Sivan.
