Sundar C’s next goes on floors

After the decent success of Aranmanai 2 at the box office, director Sundar C has moved on to his next project but as an actor in the lead role. This will be the official Tamil remake of Malayalam film Vellimoonga where Sundar will be seen reprising the role played by Biju Menon in the original.

Directed by Sundar C’s associate Venkat, the film went on floors yesterday and will be shot in and around Tirunelveli and Ambasamudram. Poonam Bajwa, who was last seen in Aranmanai 2, is paired opposite Sundar C in the film. Kiran of Gemini fame has been roped in to play Sundar C’s aunt and Sathish will provide comic relief.
