‘Subramaniyapuram’ Swathi’s next is a bi-lingual

Swathi who made an indelible mark with her performance in Subramaniyapuram never got going after that. After Sasikumar’s cult classic Subramaniyapuram, her next release was Samuthirakani’s Poraali after three years in 2011. She continued playing cameo roles in Jai’s Kanimozhi and Vijay Sethupathi’s Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara. Now, the actress has 3 projects under her kitty and one among them, Vadacurry, is already deliciously cooked and ready to be served soon.

Her next film, Karthikeya directed by debutant Chandoo Mondetti is a bi-lingual and will be shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. Nikhil Siddharth from Tollywood town will play the lead role opposite Swathi. The film is touted to be a romantic action thriller. She’s also playing a pivotal role in Amali Thumali featuring Nakul and Shanthanu in the lead roles.
