Straight OTT-only release restricts the number of people who can watch the film: Producer KJR

Producer Kotapadi Rajesh, in a conversation to The News Minute, has said that straight OTT-only release restricts the number of people who can watch the film. His next production Ka Pae Ranasingam is all to premiere on Zee Plex on the pay-per-view model for Rs 199 and also on OTT platforms.

Regarding the pay-per-view model, he reasoned: “Straight OTT-only release restricts the number of people who can watch the film. My mother or your mother might not have Zee 5, Amazon Prime Video or Netflix subscription at home. But all of them have a set-top box and TV at home. We wanted to take the film to that crowd as well. And this pay-per-view option helps us do that.”

The film stars Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi in an extended appearance.
