STR plays a Muslim for the first time in Maanaadu: Venkat Prabhu
Director Venkat Prabhu has officially announced the launch of his next political drama Maanaadu starring STR aka Simbu in the lead role. Taking to Twitter on his official page, Venkat Prabhu, in a video message, said, “STR plays a Muslim in Maanaadu for the first time ever. We have a sweet surprise for all his fans out there. The character name of STR will be chosen by his fans and it will be announced on the occasion of his birthday.”
Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, Maanaadu will star Kalyani Priyadarshan of Hero fame as the lead heroine. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music for the project while national award-winning editor Praveen KL is also on board. Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaren form the film’s supporting cast.
