What is the story of Bhagyaraj and Jayaram’s ‘Thunai Mudhalvar’

It’s been quite some time since veteran actors Bhagyaraj and Jayaram were seen on the silver screen in Kollywood. The latest news is that the duo has decided to come together for their next, a political satire, titled Thunai Mudhalvar. It will be directed by Vivekanandhan who earlier helmed Madhiya Sirai. Popular Mollywood actress Shweta Menon is paired opposite Bhagyaraj and Kadhal Sandhya will co-star with Bhagyraj.

“There’s no reference to today’s political scenario neither we take a dig at today’s political leaders,” clarifies Bhagyaraj who has penned the story. Director Vivekanandhan says, “It’s a story that takes place in a village where both Bhagyaraj and Jayaram are big shots do-gooders. Impressed by their selfless work, the Chief Minister of the state feels that one of them would be apt for the Deputy CM’s seat.”

The shooting for the film has already started and going in full swing.
